TIPS ON ENCOURAGING YOUR PHYSICIAN AND HIS/HER STAFF TO PARTICIPATE IN PAP’S

      To ensure that your physician has completed the application and included 
      any supplemental documents, we suggest that you provide your physician

      with a stamped self-addressed envelope. By having your physician send
      the completed documents back to you, it will give you the opportunity to
      review the materials before sending them in to the pharmaceutical company. 

     To make the application process as easy as possible for your physician, it is 
     best that you fill out all patient-specific portions of the application before
     presenting it to your physician to complete. The average amount of time
     that a physician spends on one application is about one minute.

     If you are presenting numerous applications for your physician to fill
     out, you may consider offering a service fee for the time your physician
     and/or staff will spend in completing the application. A offer of $20.00 is a
     suggested amount. However most physicians are very willing to assist their
     patients in obtaining the medications necessary to support their health.
